Leadership Development


The Chamber encourages members to develop leadership skills by participating in intensive development programs ranging from Leadership Northern Kentucky to The Women's Initiative. The leadership development services at the Chamber bring diverse groups of individuals together to help understand complex issues facing regional leaders and explores opportunities, needs and resources.

Leadership Northern Kentucky

LNK uses the community as a classroom to develop leaders to effectively serve the region. The nine-month program is designed to help a diverse group of potential, emerging and existing community leaders acquire an understanding of the strengths and challenges of the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area and the skills necessary to motivate and engage others in collaborative efforts.

Leadership Northern Kentucky Alumni

The Alumni Committee provides LNK graduates opportunities to grow in their leadership experience and serve as a resource for community groups needing volunteers. The annual alumni dues provide the funding mechanism for LNK Scholarships.

Regional Youth Leadership

Regional Youth Leadership is a non-profit leadership development program for select high school juniors in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. RYL is designed to motivate and empower youth to make a positive difference in our communities by developing a life dedicated to effective and compassionate leadership, selfless volunteerism and responsible citizenship. Community decision makers and leaders interact with the students to identify and develop their leadership skills, increase their awareness of the challenges, resources and opportunities in our region, encourage community service, explore various career paths and opportunities and help build a commitment to their future role and responsibility as community leaders. The outcome is an investment in our community's most important resource our future leaders.

Women's Initiative

The Women’s Initiative is the leading organization for women of all career stages to connect, grow and achieve for business and professional success.

Business Women Connect
Network with dynamic women during a monthly Happy Hour. Invite friends and co-workers to mix and mingle while enjoying happy hour drinks and appetizers. This casual gathering is open to all area professional women; members and non-members. Attendance is free. No RSVP required.

Business Women Grow
Mid-level women professionals or women re-entering the workforce can receive one-on-one formal mentoring with a current or former senior executive. The goal is to pair selected women with a mentor who will assist them to further foster their professional growth. This unique opportunity is offered exclusively to women.

Business Women Achieve
Join a circle of peers to foster professional and personal development. These structured roundtables enable women to draw on the experience and successes of their peers. Each confidential roundtable of similar level professionals from non-competing businesses, regularly meet to share and provide counsel on the challenges and opportunities facing today's businesses. Legacy

LEGACY is a premier organization for young professionals in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati with more than 300 members. This group offers a wide range of opportunities to connect with other young professionals between the ages of 21-40 in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Area.
