1960During the late 1960’s, Difficulties in moving forward the Kentucky portion of I-275 and determining where a new state college should be located in the Northern Kentucky region spurred leaders of the Boone-Kenton Chamber of Commerce and Campbell County Chamber of Commerce to work together to achieve success for both projects. This success prompted the two groups to decide that the region would benefit if the two chambers could merge so they could unite their efforts to promote growth and prosperity for the region.
